Novotel Lisboa - Lisbon

Fairly clean wonderful hotel, very very nice staff and marvellous location pretty close to the airport. Decent size room and a mini-fridge-bar, air conditioning and an individual safe inside. A great selection of excellent breakfast options. Suitable accommodation for shopping.

Beds were way too hard.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was very easy to find entering the city, the parking was easy and inexpensive. Novotels have very high quality breakfasts, the best selection we've ever found in Europe for buffet breakfasts, and the rate is very reasonable for a high end hotel.

The staff at the hotel were excellent and all spoke good english. Rooms are spacious with a large, well equipped bathrooms. They are kept beautfully by the housekeeping staff, although the carpets look a little tired. The beds are extremely firm but the pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast, which was included in our room rate, was very good with a large choice. The restaurant has a fixed price evening menu which we found very good and value for money. The hotel is in the newer finanancial area so you do have to travel to tourist areas but this is quick and easy with the excellent public transport. The hotel is near the airport which means aircraft noise but this was never a problem in the well sound proofed room. The airport shuttle stops opposite the hotel. Great child facilities. The swimming pool is a great bonus!

Its location was fantastic, near train station as well as Campolide. Restaurante Maizakura, which can be found only 500 m away, was a fast dining option.

Some of the staff were miserable.

I particularly enjoyed the elegant dining area that was both inviting and accessible. The friendly staff added to the warm ambiance of the hotel.

Improved noise insulation would enhance the stay.

Friendly and helpful staff and the restaurant was very good. Good idea for breakfast was the mini breakfast of crossiants and coffee. Close to the Metro for a short trip into the old town. Access by car was easy.

The room attendants just couldn't replenish the coffee, tea, milk soaps etc every day. We gave up after three days.

We did not want to leave there, would be happy to recommend. Had a fairly nice stay on holidays. The continental breakfast was satisfactory and had a great selection of meals. There were television with satellite channels, climate control and an individual safe in the room, really enjoyed that. The location was particularly good and absolutely perfect, short walk to public transport, and airport and the E1 bypass road. Furthermore, near the Praca de Espanha metro.

The staff were amazing and super helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with lots of choices. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel location was perfect for accessing local restaurants and attractions, and i really appreciated the nearby fitness center.

For travellers looking for comfortable hotels at a reasonable price, this is a good choice. The best thing about it was the excellent parking. Breakfast was also very good.

I arrived during Easter holiday, so hotel was a little bit crowded, with lots of children. Parking is excellent but a little bit pricy (11 euros/day). Location is not that good if you don't have a car (I'd rather choose a hotel downtown).

Good, spacious rooms (for 2 persons at least) with air conditioning, very good breakfast. Free Wifi; we used it all the time to find the latest information for our day trips. Good value for money as an overall result.

The pool area was too small for the 100+ families staying there. Possibly Novotel positioned itself as family hotel to fill up the rooms in the summer season but with 3-4 person occupancy per room, some parts get crowded. The elevator capacity is too small as well to handle this many guests. Location is so-so, you have to get used to the walk to the subway station and the ride into town.

The room was spacious and cozy. The breakfast offered a good selection of fresh fruits and pastries. The staff were great.

We could not open the doors with our key cards. Another couple went into our room with a key card!! It was really dangerous. That is the problem of the reception and the check-in system. Swimming pool closes too early.
